Gameplay Walkthrough

Chris is a hard-hitting, multi-attack, single target, Strong, Decapitate character that increases his Rush speed over time. Combined with Chris’s weapon effect, his Rush (and ability to use often) is perfect for destroying Fast characters on a defense team:

Rush

This 85 Rush deals 3 attacks at 250% each (750% total) to one enemy, while gaining +25% AP and getting Focus for 3 turns. While initially a slower Rush, after the first use, Chris’s Rush effectively turns in a 64 Rush. Additionally, Chris will be able to have a high “up time” for Focus, allowing him a high degree of control over which target he attempts to take down (e.g. – ignoring Human Shield to attack a Revive character).

Active

Chris’s turn 2 active reduces an enemy’s Defense by 50% and increasing Chris’s attack by 50% for 2 turns. This disparity in strength helps Chris take down his target quickly and effectively, and can be used at opportune times to get an otherwise difficult Decapitate. One approach for using this active is waiting until you have Chris’s Rush available, use the active on the desired enemy, and then using the Rush for optimal effectiveness.

Specialist Skill

With a high degree of Revive characters being placed on defense teams, having Decapitate s a key skill to have available in your team (since it prevents a character from being Revived). With Chris’s kit to quickly and effectively kill targets, this skill is super helpful at taking down enemies permanently.

Special Weapon

Since Chris’s Rush causes him to attack 3 times in a row, “when attacking” weapon effects can prove to be incredibly useful. With Chris’s Violent Cleaver, Chris has the potential to generate +35% AP per hit. This means that after Chris uses his Rush, he could potentially be ready to Rush again (either in the same turn via Command) or on his next turn. This should help Chris with getting more Decapitate opportunities against his enemies.
