Hello Survivors! Our War Season 5 War of Champions is approaching fast, and we’re excited to share the exclusive fighter, rewards, transfer information, and more!

War of Champions Region Transfers

The Top 100 War Season 5 Scoring Factions (listed below) will receive access to the War of Champions region. Players in those factions will also have their Region Transfer Cool-downs reset and will be given a Region Transfer Key. For this, players must be in a qualifying faction by Sunday, January 15th, 2023, at 4pm PST. 

To prevent region transfer errors and server load issues, we will be sending out Region Transfer Keys in waves by faction starting tentatively Monday, January 16th. Thursday, January 19th, 2023, at 4pm, the War of Champions Region will close to inbound transfer. If players wish to compete in War of Champions they must transfer to the War of Champions region by 4pm on January 19th, 2023. Players can expect solo tournaments during the window between Region Transfer Keys being sent and War of Champions to make for easy transfer. To help with Region Transfer, we have removed Trainer Frenzy event rewards for the Solo Level-Up Tournaments. Players can expect an inbox message Thursday, January 19th, with compensation of 4,000 Moon Pendants (2x Level Up 1st Place Rank Rewards) for this inconvenience.

Monday, January 24th, 2023, we will reset War of Champions Player and Faction Region Transfer Cool-downs and begin sending Region Transfer Keys in waves once again (following the same pattern as above) so players can return to their home regions. Faction events will continue to be on hold for the week after War of Champions to make for easy transfer. All remaining players in the War of Champions region on Thursday, January 26th, 2023, will be sent to a region of our choosing. 

We will re-open region transfers for all players in the future. Keep an eye on our official blog for more information.

Collusion

Once again, we will have a zero-tolerance policy in place with regard to collusion when it comes to War of Champions.

What is collusion in War of Champions:

  • Farming or feeding points purposely by repairing repeatedly to help another faction move up to a higher rank.
  • Repairing one camp at a time and chaining repairs in order to stall out a team and slow their progress.

Our team will be monitoring scores of players and factions to make sure the integrity of the competition is maintained during our War of Champions. Action will be taken on an account that is found to be involved in these actions during War of Champions.

War of Champions Exclusive Fighter

War of Champions players can expect all 5 copies of the War of Champions Exclusive Fighter, Gold Mythic Argus to be available from the 100,000 Point War Milestone in the WoC region only. Check out this sneak peek!

War of Champions Season 5 Avatars

Once again, we will be rewarding War of Champions players with placement and participation avatars for their epic achievements! These will be delivered via 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Rank Rewards and the participation avatar via the first War Milestone at 5,000 Points.

War of Champions Season 5 Exclusive Weapon

  • The War of Champions Winner will receive an exclusive 5-Star War Of Champions Weapon shortly after War of Champions!
  • Not only will this weapon have unique art, but the winning faction will have that special 5-Star weapon named after the Faction and rewarded to all its members.
  • To further celebrate the Faction’s achievement as best in the game, all players in the game will have an opportunity to purchase this War of Champions Weapon for a limited time.
  • The Walking Dead team will provide the art and stats of this exclusive weapon and will attach the Winning Faction’s name. Winning Faction will not influence weapon design.
  • For the weapon to be named after the winning faction, the faction’s name must adhere to our Terms of Service. Scopely reserves the right to reject a faction’s weapon naming reward if that faction name violates the Terms of Service.

Paragon Mod Rewards

Players in the War of Champions region will find a series of Missions to complete easily and will be rewarded with different Paragon Mods! Players can choose the set (ATK, DEF, HP, or CRIT) of each rewarded Paragon Mod!

Collectable Coins

We will once again reward our top 3 factions from War of Champions with the TWD RTS Champion Collectible Coins. Each of these 2 inch x 2 inch metal coins will serve as a real-life souvenir to show your dominance on the Road to Survival! 

War Map Banner

We will also hang the banner high for the winning faction for Season 5 War of Champions by prominently displaying their name on the battlefield for each war in Season 6. 

In addition, the top factions will be remembered for all time after being enshrined in the Discord Wall of Champions!
