Hello, Survivors! As many of you have noticed, a couple of characters have gone through balance patches in the hopes of increasing their capabilities in combat. We hope you find these changes to be fun and engaging.
The first character that you voted for “needing some love” is Christmas Carol. There were a couple of things about Christmas Carol that made her good, and the team went ahead and buffed her up so she would be great. Increasing the amount of damage she applies as well as increasing her camouflage potential is just a couple of the changes made.
The second character the team has buffed is, in my opinion, one of the coolest characters in the game with some of the best artwork. He was an OG mythic that didn’t quite get his point across, but with some pointed changes, the second in command Whisperer, Beta, is here to make his comeback.
Christmas Carol changes:
Before: Deal 400% Damage to a line of enemies. Those enemies get -20% Defense for 2 turns
After: Deal 600% Damage to a line of enemies. Those enemies get –35% Defense for 2 turns
Before: Make a critical attack against an enemy for 150% Damage. One other teammate Recovers from Bleed and one other teammate recovers from Burn
After: Make a critical attack against an enemy for 350% Damage. 3 other teammates recover from Bleed and Burn
Passive 1 “More for us, less for you”
Before: When attacking, 100% chance to heal another teammate by 30% of their max HP
After: When attacking, 100% chance to Heal 1 other teammate for 60% of their max HP
Passive 2 “You’ve had enough”
Before: When this character performs a critical attack, 100% chance that enemy loses 20 AP
After: When this character performs a critical attack, 100% chance the target gets -40 AP
Passive 3 “Christmas Crew”
Before: At the start of each turn while battling on the offense team, 80% chance to give all teammates camouflage for 1 turn
After: At the start of each turn while battling on the Attack team, 100% chance all teammates get camouflage for 1 turn
Stat change where we increased Beta’s Attack stat while decreasing his Defense and HP so he is better defined as a Decapitater.
AR “Target Elimination” now “Death Bringer”
Before: Deal 375% Damage to 1 enemy. That enemy gets 80% Heal Reduction and 80% Slow for 4 turns.
After: Remove decapitation resistance from 2 enemies. Deal (400%+300%) Damage to an enemy. An enemy gets 100% Heal Reduction and 100% Slow for 4 turns
SM (Starting Cooldown = turn 2, Cooldown = 3 turns)
Before: Attack an enemy for (100+40%) Damage. remove all Positive Statuses from that enemy.
After: (Starting Cooldown = turn 1, Cooldown = 2 turns) Remove all Positive Status effects from an enemy. Attack that enemy for (400% + 100%) Damage
Passive 1 “Like for Like” now “Deadly Whisper”
Before: Whenever an enemy is healed, this character gets +20% Defense for 2 turns
After: All Whisperers Allegiance Teammates get +10% Attack and +10% HP for each Whisperer allegiance teammate on the team. This character gets Counter Damage Reduction, taking -50% of the counter damage they would normally receive
Passive 2 “Scalp Collector”
Before: When Attacking targets with less than 30% HP, +40% Attack
After When Attacking targets with less than 50% HP, +100% Attack
