The night of ghouls, specters, and witches approaches, and not even the fact of being surrounded by literal proof that the undead already walk among us, will deter our survivors from celebrating the best darn holiday there is:
It’s time for Halloween!
This Halloween we bring you a brand new event: The Haunted Skirmish.
By participating in Tournaments and running the exclusive Trick or Treat Faction Roadmap, you’ll be able to earn several spooky collectibles, such as Jack-O-Lanterns, Skulls, Tombstones, and Candy Corn.
Each can be traded in the Grey Market for their own set of rewards, but your main goal should be to collect as many Jack-O-Lanterns as possible, as those will grant you access to both the event Stash and the coveted S-Class Nick.
Join us as we share more details on how to earn each collectible in the event and what rewards you can get for them.

Event Overview:
Just like in trick or treating, our month-long event will have you receiving all sorts of treats and goodies spread around our Tournaments throughout the month.
Some of our tournaments will include a unique twist on the original versions, to add some extra challenges to aim for!

Trick or Treat Faction Roadmap & Faction Mission Event
The Main Faction Mission event will have you and your faction mates collect as much Candy Corn as you can, but there is a catch!
Candy Corn is only obtainable in the Trick or Treat Faction Roadmap, which will only be available on non-war weekends. Also, to run the roadmap, you will need Trick or Treat Pails to use as energy, which you will need to collect before the roadmap opens.
Preparing for the Faction Roadmap: Obtaining Trick or Treat Pails
Each day, you can collect a set amount of Trick or Treat Pails for FREE in the store.
Trick-or-Treat Pails can be used as energy to fight in the Faction Roadmap. Make sure you collect enough Trick or Treat Pails before the Roadmap is live! You and your faction will be trying to complete it as many times as possible!
The Daily Trick-or-Treat Daily Reward will be available during the following dates preceding each Faction Roadmap Run. Players can collect the reward once per day.
- Run 1: Thursday 10/15/20 2:00 PM PDT – Saturday 10/24/20 2:00 PM PDT
- Run 2: Thursday 10/29/20 2:00 PM PDT – Saturday 11/7/20 2:00PM PDT
Trick or Treat Faction Roadmap
Every non-war weekend, the Trick or Treat Faction Roadmap will open for everyone, and you and your faction can use your hard-earned Trick or Treat Pails to progress in the Faction Roadmap and earn Candy Corn.
Each piece of Candy Corn earned by a Faction member will count towards the entire Faction’s Main Mission event, awarding Jack-o-Lanterns for each completed milestone.
The Trick or Treat Faction Roadmap will be available on the following dates:
- Run 1: Friday 10/23/20 5:00 PM PDT – Sunday 10/25/20 5:00 PM PDT
- Run 2: Friday 11/6/20 5:00 PM PDT – Sunday 11/8/20 5:00 PM PDT
Faction Mission Event
Each time the Trick or Treat Roadmap becomes available, a Faction Mission Event will be made available. This event will reset for each Roadmap.

Themed Tournaments
During the event, some of our Tournaments will be themed and offer particular challenges along with a chance to obtain Haunted Skirmish collectibles for more rewards.
We will offer more specific details on each tournament closer to launch, but here is a quick overview of the special tournaments you can expect:
- Dark Harvest Raid: a themed Raid Tournament which offers Skulls via stage drops and Jack-o-Lanterns as milestone rewards and Faction Mission Events.
- Creepy Onslaught: a themed Faction Onslaught which offers Skulls via stage drops and Jack-o-Lanterns in Faction Mission Events.
- Haunted Road: a themed Survival Road Tournament which awards Tombstones in Solo Mission Events, and Jack-O-Lanterns via milestones and Faction Mission Events.
Throughout the duration of the event you can expect to see:
- 4 Dark Harvest Raids (2 Solo, 2 Faction)
- 2 Creepy Onslaught Events
- 4 Haunted Roads (2 Solo, 2 Faction)
