As mentioned earlier this week on our Official Discord, we will be sending out a gift to our War of Champions participants due to the erroneous transfer of some players off of the War of Champions region just before the event began. These gifts will be broken down into 3 groups, dependent on the impact of the issues encountered:

  • Group 1: Players who were transferred off of the War of Champions region and were unable to rejoin a participating faction before the end of War of Champions 3. These players were completely unable to participate in the event due to our error, which we did not intend to occur. As a result, these players received no rewards from the event. It should be noted that this is a relatively small number of players (less than 10), but their experience is very important to us nonetheless.
    • A free offer will be sent to this group containing the following:
      • 1 War of Champions 3 Participation Avatar
      • 10 Platinum Mods
      • 10 Liliths
      • 10 Ulysses
      • 50 Benedicts
      • 20,000 Armory Tokens
      • Choice box with a choice of:
        • 9,000 Georgia Cards
          • An offer will be surfaced on the War of Champions region to provide the last 1,000 cards to any players who opt for this option
          • Any players who choose this option should reach out to Customer Support and request to be manually moved to the War of Champions region to use these cards
        • 2,000 S-Class Cards. Choice of: 
          • Princess
          • Frost 
          • Louis
          • Minerva 
          • Tiffany 
          • Davie 
          • Dylan 
          • Clem 
          • Rosita
          • Mercer
  • Group 2: These players were transferred off the War of Champions region but were able to return to a competing faction during the event. We realize that it is a frustrating experience to be removed from the War of Champions region just prior to the event, which was definitely not our intent.
    • A free offer will be sent to this group containing the following:
      • 10,000 Armory Tokens
      • 10 Benedicts
      • A choice box with the a choice of:
        • 1,000 S-Class Cards
          • Princess
          • Frost 
          • Louis
          • Minerva 
          • Tiffany 
          • Davie

          • Clem 
          • Rosita
          • Mercer
  • Group 3: This group is all other War of Champions 3 participants. Losing your faction-mates just before the event begins is a stressful situation to be in and we are empathetic to that experience as well. Once again, this experience was not our intention.

      • A choice box with a choice of:
        • 1,000 S-Class Cards
          • Princess
          • Frost 
          • Louis
          • Minerva 
          • Tiffany

All impacted players should expect to receive their respective free offer by approximately 12:00 PM PDT today, 6/12.

Our original intent with the transfers that occurred just before the event was to only transfer players under level 50, who were attempting to manipulate matchmaking. Inadvertently, this ended up targeting more players than it should have who were over level 50. Please note that any players above that level who were transferred at that time are not considered as cheaters by Scopely and we would ask our community to not treat these players as such.
